These dogs are popular in all parts of the world. They are famous for their amusing behavior and bold temperament. Despite their diminutive size, they are very dog-aggressive and sometimes it takes a half-hour to calm down a dog after an encounter with another canine. Although they are small and easy to care for, they are not recommended for inexperienced owners. They are extremely fragile and hence susceptible to fractures and dislocations. Therefore, they are not recommended for young children and should not be trusted with larger dogs. They appreciate company and should not be abandoned at home for a long time.

To housebreak the dog of this breed is harder than large breeds, especially males. It is recommended to put a litter box near the exit and place the puppy there when it starts to relieve itself. If it refuses to use the box, clean up the urine stains with vinegar water. Dogs don’t like the smell of vinegar and will try to avoid it. As the puppy grows older, get the litter box outside to make the dog relieve itself there. Never rub the dog’s nose in the stain, because it doesn’t understand why you do that.
