Chihuahuas are tiny dogs with an apple-shaped head, short pointed muzzle, and large ears. They have round, large, and very dark eyes. The body of the dogs is longer than tall. The dog’s tail is curled over the back or to the side. There are two varieties of the breed: smooth coated and longhaired. A range of coat colors includes fawn, sand, chestnut, silver and steel blue. Basically, any coat color is accepted in the breed. Though the dog looks tiny and fragile, it is quite robust, with a level back, and legs.
